About the Role & Team:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Publicity Specialist, APAC to support our regional Publicity team. This role will work closely with market publicity and marketing teams across the APAC region, contributing to strategic campaign planning, talent access, and the execution of regional publicity events for both local and global content titles.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with APAC publicity teams and the global team in Burbank to facilitate and roll out regional and global publicity campaigns.
- Support local markets in executing publicity initiatives and handling market specific requests.
- Work with partners and vendors to plan and manage APAC press junkets, talent tours, festivals, awards shows, and other publicity activations.
- Consolidate media coverage and prepare post-launch reporting.
- Maintain close communication with local publicity teams for campaign strategy and execution.
- Liaise with talent agencies to coordinate talent availability and negotiate promotional hours.
- Manage and regularly update the internal publicity calendar for key stakeholders.
- Oversee publicity budgets and financial processes with vendors.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business Management.
- 1–3 years of experience in entertainment publicity, content marketing, or related fields.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Korean.
- Understanding of the entertainment landscape and a interest in content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A collaborative team player with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Creative and strategic thinker who is open to innovation.
- Familiarity with Disney+ and The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) studio content is a plus.
